Invalid Currency Error on FedEx API
FedEx is one of those carriers who has a robust system in place with various APIs to support rate quoting, shipment creation, cancelation, tracking, to name a few. This means that your shipping solution should be capable to adapt to the requirements of FedEx, and most shipping solutions are. Sometimes, there may be a need to map the currency code in your ERP system (or shipping application) to that required by FedEx. If not done so, there is a chance you may receive errors from the API, such as:
"InternationalDetail CustomsValue - Invalid currency" or "CustomsValue - Invalid currency in Commodity {COMMODITY_INDEX}" or "UnitPrice - Invalid currency in Commodity {COMMODITY_INDEX}"
